ACCREDITATION: AN ASSURANCE OF QUALITY

Accreditation ensures that the education provided by institutions of higher education meets acceptable levels of quality. Accrediting agencies, which are private educational associations of regional or national scope, develop evaluation criteria and conduct peer evaluations to assess whether or not those criteria are met.

TISOH IS ACCREDITED BY ACCET

ACCET
ACCET was founded in 1974 for the purpose of improving continuing education and training and has been officially recognized by the U.S. Department of Education since 1978 as a “reliable authority” as to the quality of education and training provided by the institutions we accredit. In 1998, ACCET became the only recognized accrediting agency to be certified as an ISO 9001:2008-Quality Management System, under the international standards established by the International Organization for Standardization, and continues to hold that unique status. As required by the Nevada Commission on Post-Secondary Education, students can find our grievance policy on page 21 of the current school catalog found here.

Choosing TISOH is choosing reputation and quality. TISOH operates unique certificate and diploma programs designed to impart learning and build networking in a short period of time. The industry-recognized credentials awarded recognize rigor in the program and the reputation of the instructional team, administration, and alumni.

Beware of the many companies masquerading as licensed and accredited schools that offer “certifications.” None are recognized, as certifications are traditionally granted by peer-managed associations.

When researching hospitality schools, check that they are accredited and licensed, which testify to their adherence to standards of quality. Check that they are industry-recognized and can thus provide you with networking assistance.

You are investing in your future. Invest in quality.
