Mary Ann (M.A.) Reilly has 35 years’ experience in the special event industry. Trained in Paris at the Ritz Escoffier Cooking School, gourmet food remains one of her passions. Mary Ann was the first instructor in 1989 to teach special events as part of UCLA’s two year culinary arts program. During her career she was the Director of Catering at the Westwood Marquis Hotel, Director of Food Services at the law firm of O’Melveny & Myers, National Director of Special Events for the law firm Pillsbury Wintrop with over 700 attorneys. In 1994 Mary Ann moved to Las Vegas and was the Director of Special Events for the Metz Event Center. As a consultant in 1996 Mary Ann produced the opening night event for 2,000 of her peers for The Special Event along with the Gala Awards Ceremony and celebration for 800. Due to the success of those events, Mary Ann left Viva Las Vegas to move to Malibu to become the first Director of Special Events for Special Event Magazine and The Special Event. Mary Ann was the Director of Catering for Merv Griffin’s Hotel in Palm Springs. Moving back to Las Vegas in 2009, Mary Ann served as Vice President and continues to be a consultant for Dress The Drink. She has served on the Board of Directors of the ISES Los Angeles Chapter, The Search Foundation, and has been honored to be one of the Masters three out of the last five years for the ISES Los Angeles Chapter’s annual Meet The Masters. She is serving on the Education Committee of the ISES Las Vegas Chapter for 2013. Currently Mary Ann is the owner of M. A. Special Events…”The Missing Link For All Your Events”.
