This Executive Diploma with an Emphasis in Conference Management requires four courses that combine to form a foundation in meeting and event planning with a unique and special concentration in how to handle catering for both events large and small. The first required course is Conference Management & Event Planning. This course teaches the foundations and best practices of both meeting and event planning. Students can then choose to take the Meeting & Event Catering course or the Art of Food & Beverage course to further their practical planning knowledge. The final two courses were designed to prepare students to manage staff and to proceed up the career ladder.

The program requires successful completion of four courses: Conference Management and Event Planning, Hospitality Leadership & Supervision, and Hospitality Human Resources. Select from either Meeting & Event Catering or the Art of Food & Beverage for the last course.

Executive Diploma in Hospitality Operations: Emphasis in Conference Management (32.5 quarter credits, 31.5 CEU)

Interactive online learning. Students will begin their course alongside a cohort of fellow online students who will share the learning experience through discussion forums. Study at your own pace within the schedule provided under the guidance of a dedicated online instructor. The curriculum is divided into easily navigable modules, each containing lectures, quizzes, assignments and supplemental reading materials in addition to textbook learning.
