Art of Concierge Certificate

The Art of Concierge certificate program teaches students to take their guest service skills to the highest levels in the industry.  Taught for over ten years by Les Clefs d’Or professionals, this program combines theory and practice in equal measure, providing students with expert knowledge in dining, entertainment, and leisure, along with the self-possession and integrity of the professional concierge.

The program receives support from associations including Les Clefs d’Or USA and the Southern Nevada Hotel Concierge Association. The instructors and guest speakers represent some of the most prominent individuals in the field.

Chef Concierges from famed hotels such as the Venetian, Mandalay Bay, the Mirage and others collaborate to maintain and teach the program.

Key Program Topics

Topics include:  5-star guest relations skills critical to quality concierge service; making recommendations for food, leisure, and entertainment; creating comprehensive itineraries for guests and their parties; global guests and guest diversity; and safety and security.

Spring 2019: 10-week semester, meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-8 pm
Summer 2019: 10-week semester, meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7:50 pm

Interactive online learning. Students will begin their course alongside a cohort of fellow online students who will share the learning experience through discussion forums. Study at your own pace within the schedule provided under the guidance of a dedicated online instructor. The curriculum is divided into easily navigable modules, each containing lectures, quizzes, assignments and supplemental reading materials in addition to textbook learning.
