TISOH understands that different students have different needs, and we understand some students learn best in an online setting, while others thrive in the classroom. That’s why we have developed two district learning formats to accommodate every style of learner. With two learning formats to choose from, you can truly customize your education and training.
Option #1: Traditional In-Person
Learning format #1 is traditional in-person classroom instruction, done the TISOH-way. This means small class sizes for an intimate learning experience, direct face-to-face instruction from your professional instructor, and guest lectures up-close with local industry professionals. On campus, you’ll benefit from state-of-the-art classrooms with the latest teaching technologies, including 80″ flat-screen monitors, tiered seating, power inputs in every training table, and WiFi throughout the complex. TISOH’s lecture hall features a massive purpose-built hotel front desk equipped with property management systems from Agilysis and Alice, to simulate real-time guest interactions and practice skills in a real-world setting.
TISOH is following all local, state, and federal safety and health guidelines to ensure safety for our students, faculty, and staff. If you can commit to being physically in Las Vegas for the duration of the semester, and you are interested in a traditional classroom experience, our traditional in-person learning format is for you!
Option #2: Flexible-Online
Learning format #2 is a flexible, 100% online learning experience. With our fully-online flexible-online learning format, there are no scheduled class sessions - you can access your lectures and materials through TISOH’s powerful, mobile-friendly Brightspace platform 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. With the online format, you can study at your own pace from anywhere you have internet access.
Online programs are identical to classroom programs, and instruction is provided by the same team of distinguished professionals that teach classroom programs. Online TISOH class sizes are kept between 8 and 12 students, so you’ll enjoy close personalized instruction from your instructors. TISOH’s flexible-online learning format creates an environment where students can still be an active part of the experience. Small group activities, guest speaker panels, and projects foster an environment of support and community amongst your online cohort of peers. Online students can also add a hands-on element, by participating in an externship opportunity either in Las Vegas or in your home city, arranged by TISOH.
